These cupcakes are a delcious, rich chocolate sponge. There is a smidgen of black trecle added to the batter which gives a wonderful, warming flavour. The vanilla buttercream is piped into cute christmas trees with tiny chocoate beans for baubles and a little silver ball as a christmas tree topper. They taste as good as they look!
